Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated & experienced Project Accountant to join our team. This individual will play a cruicial role in ensuring the financial success of multiple Architecture, Engineering, and Construction projects. This role involves project accounting, cost analysis, and administrative support.

Some things you can expect to do:

  • Perform project accounting for multiple projects
  • Record and process subcontractor draws to ensure prompt and accurate payments, verifying compliance with company and contract requirements
  • Collaborate with Project Management on monthly cost-to-complete forecasts, job cost reports, and contract compliance
  • Create weekly estimated cash flow schedules for contract receipts and subcontractor payments
  • Maintain project-related records, including contracts, change orders, and expenses
  • Manage financial communication and construction accounting with internal and external partners

To be successful in this role, an associate's degree in Accounting is required. You must have advanced working knowledge of MS Office, Procore, P6, and other construction management tools and be able to travel as needed for project success.

You will really stand out if you:

  • Have 1-3 years of previous experience in a similar role
  • Are detailed-oriented and organized
  • Can communicate proactively with a high level of professionalism and a heavy focus on team relationships
