Inventory Associate
Location US-MN-Minneapolis ID 2024-26526 Type Regular Full-Time Category Warehouse
Overview

The Inventory Control Clerk will assist in maintaining inventory accuracy by counting and reporting results of physical counts, and assist in re-warehousing of product.

Responsibilities
    Conduct physical counts of product, including cycle counts, aisle checks, vintage verification, and other checks as needed.
  • Track physical counts, looking for trends.
  • Research driver shorts, hand back order, and any other invoice delivery issues.
  • Assist in returns process, putting bottles and cases in storage locations.
  • Identify product that can be removed from forward pick locations to continuously ensure items with most activity are easiest to pick.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in related area a plus, have knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures
  • Strong communication skills required, capable of communicating across all levels of the company
  • Must possess good organizational skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software (Word, Outlook, Excel)
  • Attention to detail
  • Self-motivated/Team Player
  • Ability to operate warehouse equipment
  • Must possess a valid Driver's License

Work Conditions and Physical Requirements:

  • General warehouse /office working conditions with heavy lifting and machine operation
  • Frequent lifting of 55 pounds or more
  • Frequent overhead lifting of heavy items
  • Frequent stairs and/or ladders while carrying heavy items
  • Extended standing and walking
  • Frequent squatting or bending to perform various warehouse duties
  • Frequent periods of sitting at a desk or workstation
